We are a happy and very active family of five living in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Nate and Jaime are high school sweethearts who have been married for almost 15 years. We have three daughters, Averie (14), Austin Kate (10) and Atalie (3).

We have always known that we wanted to add to our family by adoption.  James 1:27 says that pure and genuine religion in the sight of God means caring for children who need families. Even though we already have three daughters and could have more biological children, we feel very called to adopt a child who needs a loving, stable and strong home.

Our family isn't perfect and we don't have all of life figured out, but we are genuinely very happy and have a very loving home. We love to laugh, travel, play games together, go on walks and bike rides as a family. Instilling Christian values in our girls is very important to us. We read the Bible as a family daily and we are very involved in our church where Nate is a pastor. We have a large brick home with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths and a huge backyard. We've been blessed with a lovely place to raise our girls.

Nate is a Children and Student Pastor at a Baptist Church with a Masters in Christian Education. He enjoys playing basketball and an occasional golf game. He is also an expert at painting little girls fingernails and fixing ponytails.

Jaime is a stay-at-home mom who has the to freedom to serve with Nate at the church as needed and help the girls with their various activities. She enjoys thrift shopping, photography and interior design. She adores being the mommy to little girls and doesn't take the task of raising them to be Godly women lightly.

The girls all go to the same private Christian school where Nate is a pastor on staff. Averie is a freshman in high school.  She loves babysitting, photography, painting her nails and texting.  She is kind, helpful and a wonderful big sister. 

Austin Kate is our middle nugget and in the 5th grade. She is very creative, artistic and hilarious. She keeps us laughing all the time! She is on the drama team at school and has her own jewelry making business. She is also our fashionista. 

Atalie is our sweet and sassy 3 year old. She likes to dress herself in colorful outfits, play with her baby dolls, and tries to keep up with her big sisters. She is very ready to be a big sister herself!

We know what it is like to be young, pregnant and scared, so we admire you for your selfless decision to care for your unborn child and her future in the best way you can.  We were 17 and unmarried when we got pregnant with Averie.

We fought hard to make our young family and marriage work to give Averie the best future possible. She couldn't have two parents that are more in love with each other or with her today.  We promise to fight just as hard for this special baby girl to give her the best future possible. 

We have a huge support system of friends and family that are ready, willing and able to come along side of us and help us love and raise this special baby girl. We are so blessed that the Lord has brought us together through the gift of adoption!
